Little More About Me
Hi, my name is Keat Leong, also known as Zundeng. That's how the name of Zundeng Art came about.
Like many children, I loved to draw when I was young. I used to doodle all the time; even my textbooks would filled with all sorts of sketches.
But as I grew up and got busy with work, I gradually put down my pencils and brushes. For years, I didn’t make time for art

My Art Journey

Until one day, I came across Pastel Nagomi Art. Its simplicity, softness, and quiet beauty caught my attention immediately.
That moment rekindled something in me. I signed up for the Pastel Nagomi Art Instructor Course without any hesitation.
Slowly found my way back to creating art. I fell in love with the process all over again.
Then the pandemic hit. Like many others, I faced a wave of challenges and unexpected setbacks. But in the midst of it all, art became a turning point. Creating art helped me stay calm during uncertain times.
When the lockdown began, I collaborated with fellow Pastel Nagomi Art instructors to offer free online Nagomi Art lessons.
These sessions brought comfort to many, and slowly, Pastel Nagomi Art began to gain wider attention from the public.

What first felt like a crisis turned into an unexpected opportunity.
One day, I was invited by PassionArts under the Singapore People’s Association to lead a live-streamed Pastel Nagomi Art workshops during the lockdown.
To my surprise, the programmes were well received by the public. Since then, what started as a hobby has grown into my full-time career as an art educator.
You still can access the live stream video here.
